Steven is worrying about his brother so much that he had to step out of the classroom. Even though his brother is coming home from the hospital today he is still worried. Steven is scared because he doesn't know if the results are going to be good or bad. Friends of his are trying to comfort him, but it doesn't seem to be doing much.

During a period on one of the days during his week he has a free period in which he can do anything he wants. Most people chose to swim in the pool, but Steven plays the drums. Today he started a new song that is very challenging. He started to get frustrated, but once he figured a part ut he was having a great time.

In this chapter of Drums Girls and Dangerous Pie Steven had to get talked to by his teachers. The teachers knew that his brother was in critical condition, but wanted to let him know that his grades were still dropping. He doesn't think this is fair, but in the end realizes that he should try harder in school. Stevens parents aren't very angry at him because they know what he is going through.

In this chapter of Drums Girls and Dangerouse Pie Jeffery is in the hospitle feeling better. Steven is still worried about Jeffery but he can't visit him because Jeffery is in Philidelphia. Steven and Jeffery had a good convorsation over the phone. As usual, Jeffery was as happy as could be even in the worst situations. Steven is upset about Jeffery and is still slacking during school.

In this chapter of Drums Girls and Dangerouse Pie Steven went to a school dance. In the middle of the dance Stevens mother cam running through the door to find him. Right when Steven saw his mother and the look on her face he knew soething was wrong. Jeffery got a fever and past out. When you have Lukemia it is not good to get a fever. Jeffery went to the ER and got treated. Now he needs to go back to Philidelphia and stay at the hospital there for a little while.

Steven is trying to mke himself feel better by thinking Jeffery is going to get better soon, but I dont think Jeffery will. Steven is slacking in school, and isn't getting any work done. The only think Steven still has that m,ake shim feel better is playing the drums. He escapes to play when he can, but when he isn't he is taking care of his brother.
