In these few pages of Drums Girls and Dangerous Pie Jeffery was still very sick from his chemotherapy. Steven did all he could to stay positive about Jeffery, but it was very hard for him. He continued to drum to get his mind off things, but every time he saw his brother puke it seemed like he was starting over. Stevens mom seemed surprisingly calm about Jeffery .

Jeffery went to Philadelphia with his mother to start his first try with chemotherapy. Other than having his dad around, Steven was all by himself at home. Being so worried, Steven completely stopped doing schoolwork and just worried about his brother. He started to try to make himself feel better by thinking that the whole thing was just a mistake, but when they arrived from the hospital he found out that it definitely wasn’t a mistake. The first thing Jeffery said to Steven was a very nice greeting, then he puked all over Steven’s shoes.

As Mr. Rainsford ran through the forest trying to look for some civilization he became very tired. Just after he stopped looking he heard a gun shot again, but this time very close. As he walked around the corner he saw a huge castle, and had to try to go in. (This is when I stopped reading, to make a good cliffhanger for myself!)

As Mr. Reinsford woke up the next morning washed up on the shore of an island he was fairly worried. Although Reinsford is a hunter and is very good with the wilderness he was frightened because he hasn't been stranded in a survival situation before. He keeps hearing pistol shots in the distance, and that means there's someone else somewhere on the island. He wont stop looking until he finds the people or person.

As Mr. Reinsford sat in a chair in the darkness of the night smoking his pipe he heard a loud bang. As a hunter he was very curious to see what was out there. Leaning over to try to hear the noise better he fell into the water and had to swim to shore.

90%-100% Brians Winter

As Brian slowly tried to fall asleep he heard a loud clashing sound. He thought to himself he would find out what it was in the morning. When he awoke the next day he packed his bags and started off on a walk to try to find out what the sound was in the forest. Slowly, as Brian walked he saw a streight line of snow packed into the ground. He thought he would fallow the path so he did. It apeared that it was a family that lived in the wilderness for 3 months out of the year to do trapping for a living. Every six weeks an airplane would arive and resuply these people. Brian took the next plane back!
